Part of the lure Milan has over travelers is its treasured painting, The Last Supper. This famous mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci is displayed at Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. Because of the popularity of this church, it is often suggested to buy tickets in advance.

There are many streets in Milan popular solely for their great shopping, however the most famous shopping area in Milan is the Golden Quadrilateral, or Quadrilatero d'Oro. Four streets, Della Spiga. Via Montenapoleone, Della Spiga, Via Sant'Andrea and Via Borgospesso join together to collectively offer the most expensive, exclusive and high-fashion shopping in Italy.
